~Beginners Tips~

A "Favicon" or favourite icon is at the top of the browser on the address bar right next to the http:// address. For example if you look at the top now you should see a yellow sunflower with a black background. These little images are great for building a brand and look much better than the bland default browser icons. Favicons are installed by placing a one line piece of code into your pages code section and uploading the favicon image to your server. The sites that I provided above give clear directions about how to do this. If you are using a free webpage then just upload the image to an online image storage servive (i.e. Google images) and link directly to it.
